This unique and eye-catching solid oak shelf showcases the natural personality of wood with it’s beautifully crafted waney edge and an inset plant pot that sits into a perfectly crafted hole.  Each crack has been filled with black resin to add further contrast and interest in the piece.  This shelf is sure to become a feature in any room.

MATERIALS & FINISH

Made from locally sourced English oak and carefully crafted to highlight the natural personality of the wood with its grain and waney live edge.

The natural cracks and imperfections in the wood are filled with black resin, adding contrast and further interest to the beauty of the product whilst also adding strength.

This shelf is protected with a two part lacquer.

No brackets are supplied.  But we can advise or help with special requests if required (simply message use).
NOTE: this shelf is not designed to be a floating shelf (due to the thickness of the oak), Please message for special requests.

EVERY PIECE UNIQUE

Our wood is selected carefully in person for every piece we create at Kontur studios, ensuring every piece is of the same quality.  Obviously with us using natural materials, each piece we create looks different from the previous, so all images displayed are examples of ones produced, not an exact example of what you will receive.

LEAD TIMES ON EVERY ITEM VARIES WITH EACH PIECE BEING BESPOKE.  WE ALWAYS AIM FOR WITHIN 6 WEEKS BUT DURING BUSY PERIODS THIS CAN INCREASE.
