THE BORING BITS

Our products 

• All of our products are made by hand, with many using solid timber, therefore each piece has it’s own unique characteristics and any photos for our products are for illustrative purposes only.  Products will vary in terms of texture, knots, pigment, grain, weight, live edges and colour, as expected from using natural wood.

•  All photos of our products are for illustrative purposes only, to show a close representation of the product you will receive. We cannot accept any responsibility for colour variations caused by the computer system or browser software you may use.

• Our products are custom made, we typically aim to have products dispatched within 4-6 weeks but during busy periods this can take up to 8 weeks before dispatch.  We will notify you of expected delivery after an order is placed (or can be requested before-hand if required).

• Bespoke orders are not eligible for refunds if the product is delivered as requested.  Any exceptions will have to be agreed by Kontur-studios.

•. We package our products to ensure our products arrive safely and undamaged, disposal of the packaging is not our responsibility.

•. Some of our products may require assembly by the customer, all screws and fixings will be supplied. 

 

Ordering process

• Use our store shop and the secure payment method to place an order

•  Succesful orders are deemed as acceptance of our terms and conditions.  Completion of the contract between you and Kontur-studios will be at dispatch of the products ordered.

•  In the unlikely event we cannot complete your order, we will notify you with a resolution or refund as soon as possible.

• Any changes to your order can be requested, but with these being bespoke products made to order, this can only be permitted at the discretion of Kontur-Studios.

• Once your order has been placed, we will contact you with an estimated delivery time. 

• Once dispatched you will receive details on the delivery service as well as any tracking numbers.

 

Payments & pricing

• Our prices are in £GBP and incude VAT and delivery, unless otherwise stated during the checkout process.

• Quotes for any bespoke furniture will remain valid for 30 days, after this time we reserve the right to change the prices accordingly in line with any material cost increases or updated listing prices.  Prices are subject to change without advanced warning.

Cancellations & refunds 

• All orders can be cancelled up to 48hours after purchase.

• All orders are hand crafted and bespoke to every order and therefore cannot accept returns.

• All of our products are thoroughly checked before dispatch with a video to ensure we can be confident it never leaves our workshop damaged.  Any items that have been subject to mishandling resulting in the integrity or appearance of the product may not qualify for a refund and will be reviewed upon assessment of the damaged item.  If the damage is caused by the delivery, this will be covered by insurance but may need to be returned to be repaired or remade.

 

Delivery 

• All of our deliveries are made using third party couriers.

• If you are based in Northern Ireland, Highlands or British/Channel Islands this may incur a surcharge however this will be highlighted in the checkout process. Deliveries to these areas may take longer due to size and location. We will
contact you to notify you of any such delays. 

• Someone over the age of 16 should be present at the property on the due delivery date.  Should you be unavailable for a delivery, it is your responsibility to contact us to notify us and we will aim to rearrange a delivery date for you.

• Larger items may require someone present to help lift the product into the premises. Please note this will be at the ground floor level only and will be your responsibility to move upstairs if desired.

• Failed deliveries:  If nobody suitable is present to sign for the item to receive the item or you have misinformed us of the correct address, or gaining access to your property if not possible for the courier to deliver, we might be able to rearrange the delivery but please note this could incur
additional charges.
