Live Edge Oak Shelf | Black resin

This eye-catching solid oak shelf showcases the natural personality of wood with it’s beautifully crafted waney edge.  Each crack has been filled with black resin to add further contrast and interest in the piece.  This shelf is sure to become a feature in any room.

MEASUREMENTS

Depth – 310mm at its deepest and 250mm at its narrowest.
Length – 780mm

These can be cut down to be narrower or shorter on request if required.

MATERIALS & FINISH

Made from locally sourced English oak and carefully crafted to highlight the natural personality of the wood with its grain and waney live edge.

The natural cracks and imperfections in the wood are filled with black resin, adding contrast and further interest to the beauty of the product whilst also adding strength.

This shelf is protected with a two part lacquer.

NOTE: this shelf is not designed to be a floating shelf (due to the thickness of the oak), Please message for special requests.

Our wood is selected carefully in person for every piece we create at Kontur studios, ensuring every piece is of the same quality.  Obviously with us using natural materials, each piece we create looks different from the previous, so all images displayed are examples of ones produced, not an exact example of what you will receive.

DELIVERY

REMOTE DELIVERIES SURCHARGE:
Please note that delivery to some remote areas, the Scottish highlands, Islands and some GB post codes may incur an additional charge but you will be notified about this before any work commences.  

ABOVE GROUND FLOOR DELIVERY:
Delivery is included in the price at the assumption that all orders are being delivered to the ground floor.  If this isn't the case, additional charges may apply and will be raised before any work begins.
